Mission:
To conserve Iowa’s natural
resources through leadership, education, technical, and financial
assistance.
Commissioners:
The East Pottawattamie Soil & Water Conservation District has five non-partisan commissioners selected in the general election
who direct the programs of the district. In addition, the district has four
assistant commissioners who advise and aid in various ways.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service, Iowa Department of
Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Pottawattamie County
and East Pottawattamie Soil and Water Conservation District employees
assist in the mission.
